For over fifteen years Anita has been helping people to overcome challenges and increase their function and participation in life. Anita has many years of experience working in rehabilitation settings with people who have mental health difficulties and psychosocial disability. She has worked across a range of health care settings, both in Australia and overseas. She is passionate about supporting people with complex needs to engage in their life roles, achieve their goals, connect to their community, and make positive changes to their wellbeing.

North Pine Therapists are a Brisbane based specialist service providing Occupational Therapy and Psychology services for adolescents and adults. We primarily specialise in mental health care and provide comprehensive support to meet individualised recovery goals. Our two therapists have between them over 35 years of experience working in the field of mental health care. In addition to this, we also work with people who have other life challenges including brain injury, disability, trauma and developmental disabilities.
We understand the importance of tailoring therapy programs to meet individualised needs. Our focus is client centred and our work is underpinned by the belief that positive change and growth is possible for all individuals.

Rebecca O’SullivanDirector | Senior Psychologist | BA (Hons) MAPS, University of Queensland, 1996
Rebecca is a Registered Psychologist specialising in Psychosocial Disability and Older Persons Mental Health.
For over twenty years Rebecca has been committed to her clients, providing thousands of psychological assessments and interventions for people with diverse backgrounds and concerns. Rebecca has had a broad experience throughout her career, working in Brisbane city as well as in semi-rural settings in both public and private hospitals and clinics. Rebecca’s areas of special interest include treatment of behavioural disturbance in those with psychosocial disability as well as cognitive impairment, emotional dysregulation and concomitant harm to self and others and adjustment to significant life changes.

Rylee Bradford Senior Occupational Therapist | Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, University of the Sunshine Coast - 2016
Rylee is a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist with 6 years of experience in the field of mental health. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Rylee's expertise is in providing comprehensive assessments and interventions to individuals struggling with mental health conditions. She is passionate about developing individualised treatment plans that focus on maximising a client's functional abilities and promoting their overall well-being. Throughout her career, Rylee has worked with clients in a variety of settings including acute mental health, outpatient clinics, and community mental health. She has a particular interest in psychosocial disabilities and using evidence-based practices such as mindfulness, and sensory integration to help her clients achieve their goals.

Emilie ChongOccupational Therapist | Bachelors in Occupational Therapy, James Cook University - 2018
Emilie is a Registered Occupational Therapist with a special interest in mental health and psychosocial disabilities. Currently, she is completing her Masters of Science in Sexual and Reproductive Health (Psychotherapy).
Since graduating in 2018, Emilie has been predominantly working with clients affected by mental health and psychosocial disabilities, providing functional assessments and interventions to help clients reach their goals. Seeing how people are affected by these difficulties and the impacts it has on their daily activities, Emilie continues to be passionate about advocating for the needs of people struggling with mental illness. She hopes that one day she can combine her passion for mental health and sexual health, to help address relationship and intimacy challenges, and help people connect with themselves and other people to develop meaningful connections. .
